“The Art of One”

As a student of history, Glenn has always been enamored by iconic jewelry movements that originated from the most formidable design houses. Later touted as “Tutti Frutti” by one of the auction houses as showcasing vibrant mixes of colored gemstones…the house of Cartier, Verdura, David Webb, and Bulgari were at the forefront of this design movement.

Glenn has paid homage to this movement with this one-of-kind 18kt Green Gold Trapiche Emerald Cocktail Ring.

Glenn and Sharyn fell in love with this very rare 10.61 carat cabochon Colombian Emerald that is known as a “Trapiche” showcasing spider web veins that are unique to specific Colombian Emeralds.

Glenn hand carved the bulbous half round Gypsy setting using over an ounce of 18kt Green Gold  around this center stone and bezel set it in a solid 18kt gold. Sharyn and Glenn meticulously laid out the rich colorful design pattern- our own unique “Tutti Frutti” pave' work going down 3/4 of the shank with:ruby's -0.16ct, sapphires- 0.26ct, red spinels-0.12ct, brown diamonds-0.08cts, white diamonds-0.22ct, and tsvorites-2.28ctsSize 7 1/4 which can be sized with meticulous care in our workshop.

It took 9 1/2 month to hand make this design from concept to fruition. This one-of-a-kind ring represents functional art at its best.
