In around 2010 Rolex began to transition to ceramic bezel inserts and began to incorporate scrambled serial numbers and to engrave the respective number onto the Rehaut just under the crystal. Scrambled numbers are 7 digits and a letter.

This Submariner is an anomaly as it is scrambled but house a pre-ceramic insert-a practice that Rolex has always practiced to use up remaining parts from the prior reference. We believe this to be a future collect's item as few exist.

Ours is in excellent condition with very strong lugs, original dial, hands, crown + box, each authenticated and guaranteed original.
